Human Tide Line Project

in Celebration of Earth Day

On Saturday, April 24, 2010, a Human Tide Line will be drawn in Stamford, CT to illustrate what may happen to the Stamford coastline if we fail to reverse the course of climate change.

On that day at 2pm, hundreds of area residents will gather in Stamford's Cove Island Park to mark the high tide line that is projected to occur due to rising sea levels, unless we individually and collectively take action to reverse the course of climate change.

From noon to 4pm on that same day SoundWaters will host an Environmental Fair offering a range of practical steps that you can take in order to become a part of the solution to global warming. The fair will be held at the SoundWaters Coastal Education Center, which is located in Cove Island Park.

10am to noon participate in a beach cleanup at Cove Island Park. Meet at SoundWaters Center. For information call (203) 406-3302.
